P.S. the problem is not electrical interference, EMI, etc.

did you try then non-gsync experience? (gsync+vsync off, -noreflex launch option, cap fps with external limter 10fps above monitor refresh rate)

i had the same issue before, just sharing my experience here

1. completely delete everything from your cs2 steam cloud files. Here’s the link to your cloud storage:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/ ... ?appid=730 your final result should look like attached screenshot (size of each file should be 0 bytes)

2. uninstall CS2 and also delete the local temp files in:
Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/(your steamID)/730/local
After that, disable steam cloud sync for cs2 permanently, better just turn off steam cloud globally in your profile settings, that feature is super buggy...

2. reset your monitor’s EDID data using CRU (just run reset-all.exe from the CRU folder).

3. reset your monitor to factory settings. After applying your custom settings, make sure any sync tech is turned off (adaptive sync, g-sync, freesync).

4. do a clean install of your NVIDIA drivers — doesn’t matter if it’s through DDU or manually.

5. NVCP post install: NVIDIA Control Panel 3D settings, manually disable vertical sync, g-sync, etc. Don’t touch GPU performance modes.

6. Disable Xbox DVR and Windows Game Mode entirely.

important: don’t mess with CPU priorities or core layouts for CS2 or anything related (like Faceit AC client, AC service, or Steam services).

tips on how to avoid client-side desynchronization in the future:

If the problem only happens when faceit AC is on, it might be overlay-related. faceit AC quietly launches the game in untrused mode — basically, when you launch with Faceit AC, it enables -allow_third_party_software.

it is better to reinstall the nvidia driver if you change the monitor or even change the type of monitor connection (alternate between different versions of hdmi, displayport).

personally, I don’t recommend changing EDID resolutions via CRU. A lot of people do it without reading the README. best way to avoid future desync problems: only use CRU for calculating timings. in other words - create a custom res in NVCP, but use timings copied from CRU.

also don’t recommend using any 3rd party process exploring software, he may be misleading you, some such programs retain their changes after closing.

one last thing I don’t recommend using the same desktop resolution as your in-game res.

Double CCD X3D users without any issues would like a word with you regarding that point.

chat gpt tell me exactly opposite, and your post is from 2021,but i dont know maybe op can tell wich one is better ?

"2. Does Enabling Task Offload Use the NIC's Onboard CPU?

Yes — in effect.

When taskoffload is enabled, it allows:

Checksum calculations

TCP segmentation (LSO)

Other tasks to be done on the NIC instead of the CPU

✅ This reduces CPU load, but
❌ adds a few microseconds of latency — due to offloading delay and potential queuing in the NIC firmware.

That’s why for maximum throughput, you want offloading ON
But for maximum responsiveness, you want offloading OFF (less delay, more consistent frame pacing).
🔚 Final Advice:

Keep RSS enabled

Disable offloading and taskoffload if you're gaming competitively or minimizing latency

If you're running servers or need high throughput, keep taskoffload + LSO ON"
