Hello, today i bought 6900xt and i think my fps is lower than it should be.
Previously i had rx 580 8gb and in dust2 deathmatch i had 240avg and 160 P1 ,no i have 280avg and 139 P1.
Also power draw is 80 maximum,rx 580 was 120-180W.
Heaven Benchmark 4.0
Default settings 1080p
341fps
580 max fps
8500 score
Max power draw 200
Tried:
3 drivers with DDU
Bios flash
Are these numbers normal ?
5700x3d
1000W psu gold
2x16 3600mhz

Read through the AMD section, RDNA2 cards should be set to a static clock rate & voltage.
They downclock otherwise, leading to worse performance.
DX12 & VK games are the preferred graphics API's to play on with AMD.

Re: AMD 6900xt problem(maybe)
I put the minimum frequency to 2360mhz and it is 2360mhz when in game, but its drawing 80W max.kyube wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 14:15https://calypto.us

If i dont put minimum frequency to 2360 its around 1300-1400mhz ,but fps is the same.
Re: AMD 6900xt problem(maybe)
I run this TimeSPy demo benchmark and result is very low. I have more fps in cs2 with 10400f + rx580 than 10400f +6900xt

Re: AMD 6900xt problem(maybe)
Something is really wrong with your setup. Those numbers from Time Spy are way too low for a RX 6900xt. I also see that your cpu score is also very low. I have seen scores like this before coming from either power issues or VRM throttling. Maybe use a program like GPUz from TechPowerUp to monitor your temps and power.
Re: AMD 6900xt problem(maybe)
Should be around this value.
The numbers are normal
I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.
