Hey everyone, been trying to help my friend out with a flickering issue. It's not a traditional Gsync like flicker where the screen goes black, it's a white flicker that is usually half the screen (top or bottom, usually bottom) but sometimes full screen. Rarely it's also been vertical in the left or right quarter of the screen.
One thing of note is it only appears when a 2nd monitor is plugged in running at 144hz (60hz it's fine). Also of note this was not happening with his 3070 and has only started occurring after upgrading to the 5070ti. We have RMA'd the old card and got a new 5070ti so we don't believe it's the GPU being bad (we have also tried a brand new DP 2.1b cable)
Locked 60fps games or menus have this issue constantly, but Gsync is off everywhere (monitor and drivers). Prefer Max Performance in the nvidia control panel does make it a little better but not perfect.
Attaching a video of the issue, in this recording it was a bottom section of the left monitor doing the weird flicker but it has been in any number of areas.
Wondering if anyone could please provide some insight into the issue or possible fixes. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
