120x2 bfi=240fps
how could a 120hz refresh cycle display handle 240fps?
2.does a 120hz dlp projector optoma 758lv (non sample hold) have better motion clarity than regular 60hz display(16.67ms presistance blur)?
3.i connect a pc to tv via av receiver and noticed gaming fps doesn't match the 120hz refresh rate tv.That caused motion picture stuttering
seriously. The fps is not stable and can't stay on 120fps all the time .
After that i connect pc to av directly every issue is gone .There is no more stuttering and the fps is stay on 120fps all the time and it always sync with tv'refresh rate.
How could av receiver impact gaming performance?
thank you
does 120hz bfi means output 120fps to 120hz refresh rate display?

My ASUS XG27AQDMG OLED can do BFI when set to 120HZ for 120 FPS no idea how it does it however these things are a SCAM.
You can't use VRR with it so lots of nasty screen tearing, the screen becomes too dark, can't use HDR with it either and the input delay goes up drastically with BFI enabled.
The smarter option is to get a 240 HZ display and use lossless scaling app to generate fake frames, this allows you to use HDR and VRR and 240 HZ and max brightness to increase FPS from 120 to 240 or even 60 to 240
This way you get the same motion clarity of a 120 HZ BFI enabled display without the draw backs.

generate fake frame sound like motion interpolation.Supermodel_Evelynn wrote: ↑07 Jul 2025, 11:10My ASUS XG27AQDMG OLED can do BFI when set to 120HZ for 120 FPS no idea how it does it however these things are a SCAM.

2.what kind of bfi is for regular oled tv golbal bfi or rolling scan?
blurbuster said sony bvm is running on 60hz rolling scan to reduce motion blur.
Are rolling scan oled sample and hold display?
My lg c1 suffer motion stuttering when it play 23.976p video unless motion interpolation enable.
It sounds like rolling scan display can emliated 24p stuttering and improve 60fps motion clarity
