CS2 is by far the hardest game I’ve tried to tune for stable 0.1% and 1% lows. The dust2 workshop benchmark is usable, but the FPS numbers it spits out in the console at the end are all over the place. The only thing that’s really consistent is starting CapFrameX at the exact right moment. That’s what I’ve been doing for a while to see if a new tweak actually improves the lows.
Problem is, that process sucks—it’s slow, manual, and you have to babysit the capture start every time. So I made a simple but efficient benchmarking script that uses the Dust2 benchmark workshop map, but with a preconfigured CapFrameX setup to auto-start capture at the right moment, every time. This makes results much more consistent. You can even throw it in your autostart with Windows AutoLogon so you can boot straight into a benchmark run after BIOS changes.
Within CapFrameX the Logging is enabled, so you also see the CPU, GPU Load, Temperatures, Watt Usage and much more that is important for your tuning.
So test it out and see how you like it. My hope is that people will start to use it that we have some kind of comparison between our machines.
Its a 1-Click Solution with an All-in-One Bundle (CapFrameX & AutoHotkey V2 + Scripts)

You can also add your cs2_video.txt CS2 Video Settings file within the cs2_video folder then it will copy that into your Steam Profile (for that you need to run the setup once)
