The `win32priorityseparation "80"` setting can significantly improve the registration success rate.

Brothers~ After many days of testing, I found that setting win32priorityseparation "80" (Decimal) can significantly improve CS (Crossfire) hit rate and registration, and the latency is also very low.

Some people say 80 is equivalent to 40, but I tested both numbers separately and found the latency to be completely different.

You guys can give it a try!

What are you even talking about here? Do you even understand what win32priorityseparation is responsible for? Briefly, it's a Windows system setting stored in the registry that determines the ratio of CPU time (quanta) between active applications and background processes, affecting system responsiveness and game performance. It's not like syncing. Syncing can determine the provider, VPN, or just VPN, as different routes are selected, either with high latency or faster. Let me explain to the author: as soon as you change any scaler or win32priorityseparation registry setting, or until you figure it out, find it on YouTube or somewhere from someone, you know the changes will occur, but they won't take effect. After the changes, everything will be fine for about an hour to a day. Afterward, everything will return to normal, and then it will get worse. I don't know if the author is even familiar with graphs or benchmarks? Where's the evidence? I can assume that the author slightly changed the FPS and simply began to work better on the internet or something else, but he didn't come up with anything or eradicate our problem! :I can't laugh: :I can't laugh: :I can't laugh:

I'm not going to even try this as with a lot of regedit tweaks posted here, most of them do more harm than good. I went down a very deep rabbit hole ever since I discovered this forum to make my PC run at its maximum potential. I fixed a lot of small problems but not the big meaningful long term ones and as such I've been enjoying real life.

I used to believe this made a difference just because my mouse would stop working below 14 decimal but regardless it's always good to learn. I still have no idea why the OP keeps pushing on this one topic.

Edit: I'll go against other people's logic again and state that this might reduce latency but not by adjusting it to some random value. Most people here are using mice with the same buffer size which after calculations comes down to 54 decimal. For keyboards, it depends on the polling rate but a general use not 8k keyboard can handle KeyboardDataQueueSize down to 3.

I've tested many mice over the past few days and found that different mice transmit completely different data to the computer. Some values only work for certain mice. Even with the same sensor, different manufacturers' calibrations are completely different. This explains why the same parameters work for some mice but not for others. All of this points to one reason: "calculation." I also tested win32 priority separation "4" (decimal), which is also a valid number for low latency. I tested 0~128, and ultimately only 4 and 80 were consistently effective.

You can try modifying only one parameter. Don't try modifying many parameters simultaneously, because you can't tell which parameters are affected. `win32priorityseparation "4" (decimal) is also a valid value.
