ATTENTION!
I was informed that there are older revisions of the CS24A/P that also have older scaler and firmware!!!
I do not recommend purchasing this monitor due to issues with the revision!!!

Hi everyone, I bought a new CS24A 600hz monitor and I'm sharing some interesting things I saw.

In the monitor settings, I select "image ratio" Full (Square) and after applying 1280x960 it becomes native, this is the first time I've seen this :)
In the monitor settings, I enable the OverClock mode and after MBR+ I set it to 0, since this is an analogue of BFI/DyaC; my eyes just start to hurt from this technology.

:!: I highly recommend purchasing the CS24A/P model, as it comes with the latest firmware and scaler!

Hi there!
I have same monitor, but idk why I cant change aspect ratio. Setting is just greyed. When I play cs even at 1280x960 monitor osd report what current image res is 1920x1080. Can you please give some more info about your setup: gpu, display port wire, and current osd settings.

If you want a cheap 600Hz and a working scaler, don't buy the CS24A, you need to find the CS24A/P!
The new revisions of CS24A are the same as CS24A/P, but I don't recommend tempting fate!

My pc:
cpu - ryzen 7 7800x3d (stock)
mobo - asrock b650 pg lightning (stock BIOS firmware/EXPO Enabled/iGPU disabled/SecureBoot enabled)
ram - F5-6000j3636f16gx2-tz5rs (EXPO mode)
gpu - rtx 3090 suprim x 24gb (stock)
psu - zalman gigamax iii 750w
cooling - arctic freezer a35 a-rgb (stock)
ssd - samsung 970 evo plus 500gb
case - open stand

devices:
monitor - aoc agon cs24a 600hz rev 2025.10 (Full Square mode/Overclock Mode Enabled/GameMode: CS)
mouse - Wlmouse ying red (1000hz/800 dpi/lod 1mm)
mouse skates - stock
keyboard - IPI AURORA65 Silver, Lightning Magnetic Switch (stock)
mousepad - lenovo control
headset - hyperx cloud alpha

ethernet:
xPON 500 Mbps
router - Huawei Game-RT-X (firmware - V500R019C30SPC286)
I do not recommend using any gaming VPNs or DPI bypasses.

Windows 11 settings:
The system is fully updated and the drivers from the official motherboard website are installed, as well as all applications updated through the Microsoft Store since there are important components for games.
Installing the latest version of the GPU driver without DDU, etc. (The driver installer automatically removes the old driver correctly.)
Mouse acceleration is turned off.
Increased the microphone volume.
Configured NVIDIA scaling.
Turning off sound effects in Nahimic.

In Game settings:
reflex disabled/fps_max 610/graphics quality - s1mple
res - 1280x960

Connecting devices on the ASRock B650 PG Lightning motherboard:
The first port for the mouse is connected to the processor through the ASMEDIA controller, and the second port is connected directly to the chipset, so you should connect the keyboard to it, and you will have to give up all other USB devices because these devices will interfere with interrupts, etc. Connect the headphones via mini jack.
Also, do not connect anything using Type-C.
Some information: If you want to stream, then you need to purchase a PCIe capture card. Do you also want to connect a USB microphone and webcam? Then you also need to purchase an external PCIe USB controller.

You would have realized this sooner if you'd listened to me. I've told you repeatedly that there are custom resolutions for DisplayScaling that the manufacturer sets in the monitor itself.
