I have an asus xg27acdms monitor, which is oled 1440p 280hz, and only have had this issue after switching to it from my regular old 1080p ips 240hz monitor I had before, also I am on windows 11. Here is the issue, my taskbar is randomly going dark black with oversaturated neon icons, the issue stops when you press a few keys or click the taskbar. A second issue related to this is that sometimes chrome gets the inverted colors but not the taskbar, also streaming on discord sometimes makes the whole screen look like that but just within the stream. I have tried running DDU and installing graphics drivers again, tried getting rid of monitor drivers and using generic ones, tried uninstalling windows color profiles that asus drivers come with, uninstalling display widget center and none of that has worked. The only fix has been turning on "allow windows to manage colors". The feature is a bit buggy and I feel like its patchwork over a bigger issue, I also hear the windows color management has a lot of issues still. For example before it was causing my monitor to be totally washed out but that one specifically seems to be patched. However, turning this on does not fix the issue with discord streaming.
Next I have one more issue. I notice that my screen is flickering sometimes, turning on windows color management seems to make it not happen which seems super weird, I don't notice it in 3d games just in the 2d game sandustry, as well as chrome at random times and discord. Also it happens a lot when minimizing something to system tray. Again windows color management being on just makes that go away but again it feels like patchwork and that feature has issues.
Issue with color glitch, mostly just on the windows task bar.
