Help getting a good OLED

Hello can someone help me find a good oled? i want this specs at least (preferable one that has been tested and praised for how good it is):
- 240 Hz or more
- 27 inch preferable but idm a bit less a bit more
- Good tech so that the pixels dont burn even if i leave image quiet
- Good brightness if possible
- Decent HDR
- Idk much about if there are OLED types that dont have fast pixel response, but i want good pixel response, it would be to play fast games.

OLEDs have the fastest pixel response time (0.3 to 0.2ms) so you don't have to worry about it unlike IPS or LCD panels. Having tested two of them myself, I was really impressed with them, especially at 500hz! (I wrote a long review about it here: viewtopic.php?p=120328)

While OLEDs are much faster, they are still burdened to sample and hold stroboscopic blur, so the best way to combat that is by using BFI (black frame insertion) or a higher refresh rate.

Something like the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV may be a better option should you want a BFI solution, it's fast IPS though, not OLED.

The one thing to look out for especially is whether you'd like a matte coating, semi-glossy or a glossy coating on the monitor. In short, your monitor will have mirror-like reflections there's light near it, such as daylight, room light on, etc. This is dependent from person to person, some people don't mind it, for others it's problematic. Personally, I prefer matte.

In terms of a 'good' OLED, I would say the only good ones are the RGB-stripe OLEDs.

PG27UCWM (27" 4K OLED)
PG32UCWM (32" 4K OLED)

Both of these are new OLEDs with the RGB-stripe subpixel layout.

Previous OLED generations had horrible colour-fringing which for me was a massive dealbreaker as it gave me eye-strain. Some people notice the colour fringing, others dont. I honestly don't see how as it's extremely obvious and painful. I've seen it on 4 different OLEDs

Next year in 2027 there will be many new RGB-subpixel layout monitors, so if you really want a 1440p OLED, I would just save up and wait in the meantime.

hi ty for answer, i want it preferable OLED than IPS cos all flicker techs that i have tried dim a lot the brightness, which at the end at least for me makes it harder to spot enemies for example, so its a ttradeoff to activate or not.
I have in my room my light in the right side of where i sit, i have no direct light towards monitor, also window is in the left but i have courtains, do you think a glossy one would be fine like that? i am tempted to try them.
I asked a bit AI about a model that i am interested in and said that it is a RGB-stripe OLED and that it shoudl have fixed the colour-fringing, what do you think? Its a 280 hz but my setup doesnt even get 280 fps so i think ill be fine xD even with IPS its not bad when fps are high for me. Oh btw i didnt ignore the ones that you said, but they re 4k, i think i prefeer maximum 2k so that i dont loose much fps.

It might be ok for you, it might not. I personally wouldn't recommend it since I find any form of reflections distracting on a monitor, I don't think it's worth the tradeoff. Matte will win in any environment. I'd say as long as you can easily return and refund the monitor if you don't end up liking it would be a factor to consider.

XG27AQWMG is a 4th-gen panel. It isn't an RGB-stripe one unfortunately. Your AI is incorrect.

Understandable. 4K can be quite demanding depending on what games you play. 1440p is definitely a sweetspot resolution.

I haven't tried any RGWB OLEDs, so I can't speak to it. As I say, some people are bothered by the subpixel layout, some are not.

If you do wish to look at cheaper OLEDs, just look at what's on sale and affordable to you, AOC, Gigabyte and MSI OLEDs for example should be closer to the price range you want.

If you're going to be spending hundreds on a monitor, it should be good at everything so I would personally just hold off for now.
