LG 24GM77-B vs. BenQ XL2411Z

Post by MrVik » 18 Dec 2014, 14:25

Which one of them is better?
I have read the Prad articel about the LG and it was very positiv. But I still don't really know which one would be better for me.
I play a lot of CSGO and LoL. But i have also at the moment an Dell U2412M because of IPS advantage, in Colours.
I read sth about the BenQ which seems to calibrate better.

I would really appreciate Help :) !

Edit: I read the Post in the Forum, but it didnt really helped that much :D

So do you think the 50€ are not worth the LG? The BenQ has almost the same functions as the LG but according to prad the panel of the LG seems better. I really dont know :(

Edit: I think Lightsboost would work also fine for me. The 240 Mode from LG seems to be not that much diffrent

I can guarantee you it's different.
Lightboost locks you out of the OSD. You lose control over everything except contrast. you even lose overdrive control (although yes, you CAN adjust the amount of overdrive in lightboost mode on the Asus VG248QE at least, by going into the service menu. Benq lacks a service menu overdrive gain, though). ULMB sort of locks you out (it probably doesn't lock you out in newer gsync monitors, but in the VG248QE upgrade module, it did) but you can use DCC commands to change stuff. But Benq blur reduction, Turbo240/Eizo, LG, etc all should allow full OSD color, gamma, sharpness controls.
