hi i dont know if anyone can help but this is really starting to get on my nerves :(

ever since owning this monitor i cant seem to get the colors how i like them.

there are many different profiles and people saying this setting and that but each time i start pc from being off all night the image will be cloudy or washed out. then i end up spending a hr or two messing with it each time trying to get it how i want. only for the next cold start to be washed out again.

anyone know why it would be like this after leaving pc off ? i have seen a few people mentioning about this issue and it takes a while for monitor to warm up. thing is its still the same 30minutes - 1hr in.

so if anyone has some help fool proof guide to help me it would be awesome :D

i use DVI-D connection , 120hz, no color profile . i don't use the benq one as it doesn't seem to stop the misty washed out look on cold start.

starting to think monitor might be broke .

Haha, my XL2411Z behaves the same way. Colors, gamma, contrast, black levels, crosstalk, etc are worse for the first 30 minutes or so. There's nothing you can do, just let it get better by itself. My advice is that you should calibrate the monitor only after it's warm, because it will be in that state most of the time.

Now it's winter where I live and this happens every day, but in summer this phenomenon is rarer.

I ahve not experienced this before. Maybe because I live in a tropical country. :D

This happens for my monitor as well. Using a good color profile helps a LOT while also having proper calibration.

I did not even know this "warming up" to return to normal thing is a thing. Is this phenomenon distinct to this model or panel?

I've noticed that too but I thought it was the ambient lightning that affected it, not the panel itself.
Not a big deal though.
