Best settings for AW2521HF

Post by Andrikuh » 20 Sep 2020, 10:36

Hi, I would like to know which setting is better to play VALORANT competitively, I always have more than 260fps.

Which one should I choose between fast, superfast and extreme? Understanding that I seek the shortest response time, but that it looks as fluid as possible.

I hope you can help me!

It doesn't matter. Latency is going to be identical. Only pixel response time changes slightly, which does not affect input lag. So just choose the one that has the least amount of ghosting in this test:

There is one thing that i have noticed on this monitor, when you use the superfast response time, the image itself looks better (colors etc.), but you do get alot of artifacts from the increased overdrive.
To fix that, just enter the service menu and lower the OD Gain setting to something you find acceptable, also keep in mind that the changes you make in the service menu, reset everytime you turn off the monitor.
