The first results of the UFO test on the new QD OLED monitor have appeared online and... it's pretty good! (At least, for non-strobbing)

Check it out:

(The top line is at 175hz. I'm fairly sure this is the best non-strobbing results we've ever seen)

Could of improve tracking and use different camera shutter setting, but it does the job.

Here's another one, a simulation. Look pretty much the same.

Does that mean this monitor could hold its own in an esports environment? If someone wants a single monitor that can also be used for competitive games as well as a good experience in other apps

Or is input lag higher on this monitor?

There is a chance it has some additional processing latency, but don't take my word for it. Wait for TFTCentral, HUB or RTINGS review first.

I received my AW3423DW a week or so ago and the monitor works great in eSports titles. I have an AW2521H 360hz and a Viewsonic XG2431 240hz to compare it to and this monitor feels great to play on. I really only play Competitive FPS games, but wanted to try the new QD-OLED tech so I picked it up.

The PC Gamer article doesn't show any latency tests so not sure how much they can be trusted. If I was practicing for LAN tournaments then I wouldn't use 21:9 to begin with and would stick to 16:9 360hz displays. If you play CS:GO or Valorant, you're better off using 16:9 displays IMO.

Also, I played with BFI enabled on the AW2521H and Viewsonic XG2431 and the latency seems to be about the same as the AW3423DW.

Curious how HDR 10bit 144hz compares vs. HDR 8bit+frc 175hz.

Nice, yes I have the exact same AW2521H 360hz and I ordered the AW3423DW because I wanted to see... I'm glad they are both viable options. I was worried that the drop would be too significant. Can't wait to try out the 34" QD OLED (but sadly, I must wait almost 1.5 months)
