Re: Is this what the gsync/freesync + vsync and -3 fps cap setup does?

Have you done a test looking at the input lag difference in csgo between a setup with 141 fps cap-vsync-gsyn on vs no cap-both off-on a 144hz monitor with the game running around 300fps https://blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/9/ https://blurbusters.com/wp-content/uploads...

Anyone has experienced the same issue ?
First off, what are your G-SYNC settings? Secondly, have you checked your average GPU usage in a typical match?

Re: G-Sync+vsync question

Is it normal for G-sync ON + V-sync ON + Fullscreen to be capped at 225 fps without capping it in nvidia cp/RTSS/game? Do you happen to have Low Latency Mode set to "Ultra"? Is so, that setting auto caps the FPS slightly below your refresh rate when using G-SYNC + V-SYNC. Set Low Latency Mode to "O...

I recently wanted to try playing csgo with freesync and vsync on and the -3 fps cap but csgo has two different types of vsync. double and triple buffered.
Both G-SYNC and FreeSync function on a double buffer.

Re: LFC Question for the Blur Busters masters: G-Sync to FreeSync?

Nvidia Control Panel: Low-latency mode: Ultra Max framerate: 30fps Monitor technology: G-Sync Triple buffering: On RDR2 in-game settings: Refresh rate: 144Hz Screen type: Fullscreen VSync: On Triple buffering: On Just a quick comment; at best , the triple buffer settings will do nothing for G-SYNC,...

so just to confirm, if a monitor supports lfc then it is automatically on and you don't have to turn it on through monitor/gpu settings?
Correct.

Re: couple questions about freesync

I have also read that most 144hz monitor's have lfc so is this true or does it only depend on the vrr if the minimum vrr doubled is lower than the max refresh rate? For G-SYNC, FreeSync, and officially "G-SYNC Compatible" 144Hz FreeSync monitors, yes. For unofficial G-SYNC Compatible 144Hz FreeSync...

Re: couple questions about freesync

Do you know of any monitor websites which collect prices of all the different monitors available so they are accessible in one place similar to pcpartpicker because their monitor section does not seem to use a lot of website and when lfc is in effect is the input lag the same as vsync and gsync off...

Re: couple questions about freesync

do you think csgo is one of the only games you wouldn't use gsync in since it can run at a very high average fps where screen tearing would be hard to see and the input lag decrease in a game like this where only aim matters would help a lot? I mostly play high action games like fortnite, overwatch ...
