Reporting back from the Samsung Odyssey G7 32":
DP 240hz feels extremely bad compared to 144hz HDMI, but on HDMI I experience more tearing, not all the time, but when the tearing appears, everything feels floaty. Really strange.
Why does Display port and HDMI feel so different?

Been testing the MSI MPG271QRX *QD-OLED for 1 month now.
- 144hz HDMI is still preferred over 360hz DP

After a few days of testing, I found that the input delay of the HDMI interface is lower than that of the DP interface. The DP interface is smoother while the HDMI interface has more micro-jitter.

Re: Why does Display port and HDMI feel so different?
hi! Has anyone found a fix for this? I’m experiencing the same issue across ASUS, MSI, and Samsung monitors. I’ve tried GTX 10-series and RTX 50-series GPUs, as well as different CPU and motherboard combinations. There seems to be something wrong with DisplayPort.HDMI feels noticeably better in competitive games like League of Legends, Valorant, and CS2. It’s as if there’s a delay or sluggishness with mouse cursor movement when using DP
