About Valorant desync
Re: About Valorant desync
For me, it is ISP issue, my ip changes, sometimes when i get a good IP, everything is perfect, no delay, the second my ip changes, all the problems appear. I called them, but they say everything is perfct.
Re: About Valorant desync
It's possible that when you reboot your router, you get prioritized space from your ISP for a while. When I had 50% packet loss, this was fixed for a while by changing the IP address
Re: About Valorant desync
You should try setting your performance plan to balanced if it is on high or ultimate performance mode. For some reason for me if it set to those it becomes nearly impossible to play due to the desync. Enemies instantly one-tapping me and my bullets consistently going through people like they are ghosts. Have no idea why this setting would cause this but the effect is consistent everytime I turn it on. Just set it to balanced reset your computer and watch enemies suddenly become human beings again.

ROFL2.
After a reboot, other devices on your local network don't immediately restore their connection. These devices were the original cause of your packet loss. During this time, the channel remains free, and the packet loss disappears. However, as soon as they reconnect and start downloading the same stuff they were downloading before—for example, your phones pulling updates—the channel gets overloaded again, and you'll experience packet loss once more. I just don’t understand one thing—why am I even writing this here?
Re: About Valorant desync
nonsense, the problem was on the provider’s side and was solved by rebooting the router and changing the ip, that’s a fact.ahead wrote: ↑14 Jan 2025, 20:47ROFL2.

Re: About Valorant desync
I know this is frustrating, but we share a similar background when it comes to the long and varied FPS games we've played. I may not be as skilled as you, but I can assure you that your issue is not related to internal hardware or even your internet connection.
Here are some possible causes and observations:
Using "On+Boost" may cause bugs when combined with Windows settings like H.A.G.S. (Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling) and Game Mode turned off. Strangely, my PC performs better with both of these settings turned off.
Solution: Using a Second Account
I’ve tested this for almost a year with my Ascendant 1 account (starting at the same RR from 0):
I know this might sound like a strange assumption, but it only happens in Valorant. In other games, I find my consistency remains intact.
I hope this helps you. For further evidence, you can check out my TikTok post:

Here are some possible causes and observations:
- Desync: The game looks fine, but if you check, CPU usage is higher than usual.
- Movement (Ferrari peek): This occurs when other players have higher ping than you, and they use a double-step peek strategy.
- Monitor Hz, FPS cap, and Reflex Latency:

Re: About Valorant desync
I wrote to valorant support about this issue. They asked me to do irrelevant things and finally asked me to do a pingplotter test. As a result of the test I did, it seems that I am connecting to the servers very stably. They will probably blame me again. I don't take this game seriously anymore. Because this nonsense destroys all the competitive atmosphere.ashlikesnoww88 wrote: ↑16 Jan 2025, 04:03I know this is frustrating, but we share a similar background when it comes to the long and varied FPS games we've played. I’ve found the best results with a 360Hz monitor, capping the frame rate at 400 FPS, and enabling Nvidia Reflex Latency (set to "On" but not "On+Boost").
- Monitor Hz, FPS cap, and Reflex Latency:

This game feels like betting. You can't play consistently for an entire day. If you win three matches in a row, the game often throws you into matches with bot-like teammates, and CPU performance spikes. Whenever I notice something is wrong, I switch to Account B, and the game feels normal again.
- Account B: Used when Account A experiences problems.
