Hey, sorry for the potentially silly post
I was wondering what exactly I should be looking for when calibrating with the strobe util? Would it be reasonable to just drag the brightness slider in the util down if I don't notice any issues currently?
Cheers, sorry for stupid post
XL2566K Strobe utility application

Re: XL2566K Strobe utility application
DyAc should already be well tuned at max refresh rate so there may be no need for Strobe Utility, unless u need finer brightness/MPRT adjustment or want to adjust for lower lag phase. But from what I heard strobe utility doesn't work properly with XL2566K and has significant brightness hit possibly due to overkill MPRT (see more here). And low-lag phase has minor impact on lag while adding a major amount of crosstalk, so it's usually not worth it.
Strobe utility is meant to be used for sub-max refresh rates with QFT (e.g. 120 Hz) or in case factory phase tuning is a bit off.

Re: XL2566K Strobe utility application
Has benq locked down there brightness? I have a xl2586x, and you cannot tweak brightness using 3rd party apps like controlmymonitor above stock maximum, whereas xl2546k you can actually increase the brightness in dyac using them and also with benq strobe tool, you can also make regular non strobed brightness crazy bright, benq intentionally nerfing non strobed brightness so it seems like there backlight strobing doesn't take a hit to brightness, when it in does in reality

I appreciate the reply. Thank you so much for the info
