That's strange, on my realtek nic I need to use the windows 10 driver NDIS for RSS to show up. It disappears after installing the netadaptercx driver.dermodemon wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025, 02:27This driver has RSS enabled by default. I just change it to 4 queuesKal wrote: ↑20 Sep 2025, 18:04Is this the driver with rss already disabled and not visible when you check the properties?dermodemon wrote: ↑20 Sep 2025, 08:03Holy f*cking sh*t guys.hazzahodgson wrote: ↑01 Apr 2025, 23:34
try the one with netadaptercx, not the ndis one, i like netadaptercx one
I beat desync with this "netadaptercx" driver.
I disabled all offload, energy savings and interrupt moderation.
Checked MSI box and put it to the core 4(priority low, msi limit 4, RSS 4 queues).
Then i put this command in CS2 launch options "+cl_tickpacket_desired_queuelength 0.035" without " ".
Now i don't have any desync and finally FEEL like my shots are hitting enemies as it should be.
Definitely not a placebo. Whole week without any kind of desync.
I am finally free from this network lag thread.
Such a relief.
P.S. tried USB network card = desync
tried PCIe network card = desync.
After all of that i came back to my onboard lan realtek NIC and with this driver my games (cs2 included) feel amazing again.

when I try to install netadaptercx driver instead of NDIS, it installs successfully but then my nic disappears after a reboot and I have no internet. anyone else have this ?
Re: HIGH % YOUR InputLag/HitReg IS NETWRK RELATED.
Can confirm this works for me. I'm on B850M Aorus with a Realtek 2.5 Gb NIC. The difference is I only set the priority to low and put the NIC on core 4 without changing RSS/Msi limit, but it's better for sure I could say.dermodemon wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025, 04:20yes. Hey bro, did you test this out on FACEIT servers? Any ferrari peeks/sluggish-feeling deaths?dermodemon wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025, 04:20yes. MUCH MUCH better than any other fixes. How do I set my NIC to core 4?
Thank you
Re: HIGH % YOUR InputLag/HitReg IS NETWRK RELATED.
I dont understand, when i install netadaptercx there is no option for rss queue 4? So someone can say what we need to do step by step
thx
Re: HIGH % YOUR InputLag/HitReg IS NETWRK RELATED.
cuz netadaptercx dont have rss cuz that is new gen nic driver based on wdf01000.sys, 1 core - 1 interrupt, you can only move that core.
Re: HIGH % YOUR InputLag/HitReg IS NETWRK RELATED.
This is not true I have over 200 Servers and Workstations with non NDIS (netadaptercx) drivers and RSS enabled and working see here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windo ... aling-rss-
If your don't see 2/4/8 queues your driver either doesn't support it or has not implemented that. Many drivers still support RSS but you have to either use the powershell commands for it to configure rss or add it via registry.
Since I'am a lazy person I will link you here my claude.ai inquiry 1. If it's possible with netadaptercx and 2. how to configure it:
