Of course it didn't help, the problem is not a PC-->monitor signal as such, its your GPU / CPU data corruption while rendering and processing the information, so by the time the packet of information leaves MOBO to travel into the output (monitor), the data is already corrupted, so you can buy a DP cable for 500€ if you want and this won't help...this is literally like your car would have punctured tyre, and you would try to "fix" this by buying a new car windows.

If this actually worked for you, then you are among 1% of people which simply had damaged DP cable and therefore laggy data transfer, and now you think this is the entire fix for our problems.

It's logical explanation, your monitor just displays what is rendered from CPU and GPU, so why would DP or HDMI cables be the problem?

+12V and +5V rails are not getting clean electricity, then the CPU and GPU activates their error-correcting protocol to prevent a system crash = output delay.

Now the funny part is where does this crap voltage comes from, because a good PSU, in combination with EMI-filtered surge protector, should easily handle dirty electricity...but we still get this problems, so apparently the electricity must by-pass the PSU and somehow enters the PCI slots from modem, monitor, speakers etc.

because battery mode didnt fix issue.
issue appers and dissapers at the same time ac / battery mode.

Not for me, if I run laptop on the battery its perfectly fine, but if I remove the battery and run with a power cord directly into the wall socket it works like crap.

That's because there's a chip at the end of the optical cable, + there can still be copper in it this way.

same, I bought hdmi 2.1 optic cable.Except the problem actually fixed for 30-1 hour gaming, then the trauma came back like it had never gone away. :cry:

im writing this on mobile, hope replying works correctly lol

my houses electricity is fine. devices work OK and i don't get electricity INPUT LAG. but ever since i made the jump to 1440p, from 1080p, my mouse input has felt very icy in real games.

i would love to believe that im just a kovaak nab that cant aim in real games (trainable problem i only hit 39% lg in quake live lg vamp anyways), but i tried playing some bullshit roblox game on my dads laptop (hooked up to a 1080p tv because the laptop display is broken lmfao) and my ability to track was only stopped by the NORMAL non-electric input lag of his unoptimized and bloated win11 and the tv.

matching the speed of the target was easy and the only struggle was compensating for the lag, which i could do mostly.

like on the laptop/tv setup, the mouse didn't feel random or accelerated, just delayed. on my pc w the 1440p display, there is no delay, but it is slightly unpredictable.

my problem is a lot like OPs if we assume that his "acceleration" is just acceleration, and not laggy like my dads electrically good laptop.

i want to know that if i buy a shielded dp cable, my issue will be resolved. my old asus TUF served my aim perfectly fine and i was even capable of hitting ~53% typical acc as ultron in marvel rivals, dont play anymore tho so idk what i would hit now

shits genuinely so depressing, i see someone change directions in front of me on the 1440p monitor and my aim doesnt follow. best case scenario i react ~300ms later despite peaking a 210ms ballsheet, 160ms vrt, and having jade palace master scores

hey, since i got my MSI MPG271 QRX a few months ago (1440p / 500Hz OLED / UHBR20) i have noticed the same. I have also posted about it here, where i basically said that in CS2 once you go past 1080p somehow TTK (Time To Kill) is higher.

If i play at native 1440p even tho i have 500+FPS i feel like i need to hold my mouse1 button for a longer time to kill ennemies in game.

What followed was me testing basically every resolution and what i found is that for some reason the lower your resolution is, the faster the TTK is in CS2.

I shared that here and other people reported the same finding in Overwatch and Rainbow 6 Siege.

I also noticed that if you lower and cap your FPS to a very low value (for ex : 150 FPS, 200 FPS, etc) the ennemies have a harder time to hit you and kill you in game. If you play on uncapped you die extra fast.

And for some unexplainable reason on CS2 having more than 400 FPS create a desync with the server over time; meaning the more time you spend in the same server with higher than 400FPS the more you will be out of sync with the server (can be in your favor or not depending on other factors). Anyone reading this can test themselves on Cybershoke Community serv DM for example, will easily notice it.

My opinion is that it's all related to Game Engines and not Windows. Source engine for example, always had a preference for low res, and it will sometimes give an advantage to low FPS players to "make the game fair for everyone" whatever the fuck that means. In reality having High FPS / Low Ping and Low Jitter should always gives you an edge but Game Devs prefer to make the game "fair for everyone" and implements dogshit lag compensation to laggy players while it is ethicality incorrect, but how would they boost their concurrent players numbers if they don't do that?
