I played league on my wife's 240 hz OLED monitor and it felt so bad to view league so blurry panning the camera around at 240 fps @_@ My eyes really didn't like it after being so used to seeing league on pulsar.

the 610hz asus elmb from the obscure chinese reviews, seems worse than the pg248qp ulmb 540hz,only upgrade is the rolling backlight, but the pg248qp is pretty decent from top to bottom
Re: NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV
Can you link me the actual review?
Are you refering to ELMB with ELMB Sync (VRR enabled) being worse than the ULMB2 setting on the pg248qp? If so, that would make sense.
But I doubt it should be "worse" than the 540Hz one with the ELMB2 settings. Considering Asus claims it's their fastest panel yet.

It's in my post...
The Rapid-TN panels are mediocre when strobed due to a fixed pulse width setting & KSF//PFS backlight.
They do target a MPRT due to a higher refresh rate.

Hello World!
Since this is the only thread talkin' bout Pulsar, has anyone tried the MSI 272QRF X36 instead of the Asus?
I morally object to ASUS on multiple grounds that I won't derail this thread with.
I have my 272QRF X36 on the way, should arrive Tuesday.
I genuinely have no idea if the performance will be the same as the ASUS, but I assume it will?
The main part for me as a competitive FPS gamer is having a good monitor crosshair, and my MSI 27" 4k QD-OLED has the best crosshair I've ever used.
Always genuinely sad that reviewers never mention that.
Also it seems to have an ambiance sensor that points forward? Nothing creepy about that! At least this screen won't ever be hooked up to the internet amirite?
Would like to hear some feedback about the ambianceFX or whatever they call it from all the brands.

Did you see it pulsing at 360hz with ur mobile camera? Im quite sure mine didnt do that.liquidshadowfox wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026, 13:05I can confirm
1. Pulsar keeps pulsing 360 hz if you have vsync off and are rendering more than 360 hz
2. If it dips from above 360 to below 360 the transition is smooth with no visible flicker to my eye
For #3, there was a review that compared the 2 and said the 540 hz ULMB 2 looks clearer but this more crosstalk than pulsar
Does this mean that for CS2 i should have it uncapped and play at my 500+ FPS. But with PULSAR: ON, VSYNC:OFF, REFLEX: ON ?
And i should get 360hz puls that should be "1440 hz motion clearity".
I still dosnt really understand what settings i should use on CS2 when playing competitive. Can any1 point me in the right direction please?

I have the Acer Predator XB273UF5 - I have been running games uncapped and with Pulsar enabled at 90Hz+ and without vsync in games where I fluctuate between 240-400Hz or 300-450Hz as an example or for games like Valorant and CS2 I've been letting it run uncapped,
Only games I know are reliable but can't reach 300-360 have I capped at 240Hz.
I'm seeing varying opinions on here and elsewhere.

what's the actual difference, other than brand, between the four pulsar monitors currently available?
