Mario odyseey suffer micro stuttery and no quite responsively

All newer XBOX consoles supports 120Hz+ & FreeSync. Getting help with getting "Better Than 60Hz" on the XBOX ONE, XBOX Series S, and XBOX Series X, as well as the PlayStation 5.

Mario odyseey suffer micro stuttery and no quite responsively

Post by derekchan » 04 Feb 2026, 12:05

play mario odyseey with lg c1 plus motion high bfi and a nyxi third party switch gamepad.

When i connect switch to av receiver to tv ,the motion clarity is clear than bfi off.
But there is motion picture micro stuttering when i turn around the 3d camera with right analog stick.
Also, the responsive of right analog stick is slow to nocticebale

Does this happen without the receiver?

Answer depends on yes/no.

1. If yes, you might be witnessing a side effect in a much more sensitive way. Motion blur reduction such as BFI amplifies visibility of frame drops. Anything that aberrates from 30fps or 60fps will be very noticeable (e.g. 29fps or 31fps or 59fps). The lack of motion blur unveils the visibility of small framedrops, jitters, stutters.

2. If no (no microstutters without receiver), then your receiver has flawed framebuffering, you will want to bypass your receiver. Maybe use a "HDMI Audio Splitter" dongle so you can have a direct video connection to display, but pipe the audio to the receiver.

hello chief
can i ask if mpc hc media player on windows os capable of display 24p content with vrr g sync,to solved 24p judder issue on a native 175hz display?
The manual of this monitor said not support 23.976p hz signal input like 1080p 23.976hz
can g sync variable refresh rate make 24.976hz work at 175hz refresh cycle?

2.i play pc game on c1 with 1080p 100hz or 1080p 120hz with bfi motion pro high, but the fps can't stay stick to 100fps or 120fps stably during the gameplay time.
my pc is r5 2600 + 3060ti which is diffcult to maintain a static fps performance to play rainbow six siege x and team fortress 2.

How many presistance ms time if drop to 1080p 60hz with bfi motion high? =8.3ms?
i heard lg cx can achieve 4ms for 60fps>60hz
how could reduce presistance with half ms time? 60hz=16.67ms 120hz=8.3ms
Does lg c1 run120fps>120hz with bfi high can achieve 4ms like 60hz bif on lg cx?
thanks
