Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, ToastyX, black frame insertion (BFI), and now framerate-based motion blur reduction (framegen / LSS / etc).

You shouldn't be using 357FPS when using GSYNC.
Your frame rate limiter isn't good enough to sustain that tight of a difference.
360 FPS = 2,777778 ms
357 FPS = 2,80112045 ms
The difference between them is 0,023342672 ms, aka 23,342672 µs
Windows as a OS & frame rate limiters simply aren't good enough for this.
Even 350 isn't good enough (~0,07936508 ms aka 79,36508 µs)
In comparison, NVidia's autocap goes for a value of 324 FPS @ 360Hz, which ~0,308642 ms (~308,642 µs)
This is orders of magnitudes larger in PC time & a good minimum starting point.

Y, i can turn on mbr like dyac1 and fast sync, using blurb strobe util, but even with utility, even with 120hz custom resolution, i have big overshoot and crosstalk on top and bottom of the screen, only 100hz custom res give me near clean UFO test picture, but 100hz is already noticeable drop in clarity and u feel it immediately after u start gaming, just wanna get good with new monitor and feel the difference, feel the good clarity, i think if pulsar is not good at all, than ill just try to return it and get 500hz OLED instead.
My pulsar will come to me tomorrow, so less a 1 day stay for check this new feature

500 FPS @ 500 Hz is required to fully take advantage of the clarity boost.
Your XL2735 (same as the XL2730Z, I believe, whose data I will quote) should be able to achieve 1333 Hz (~90cd/m²) & 2000 Hz (~50cd/m²) effective clarity.

For competitive games, ULMB2 (fixed refresh rate strobing) is the better choice on these QHD@360Hz models.

Buy both OLED and PULSAR monitors and compare if possible, theres many pros and cons to both for use case and how you personally perceive blur.

Looking at your pursuit photos its going to be a huge upgrade either way.

if i only can do this and try both at the same time :D but now im choose the pulsar and today will test it, if something goes wrong, ill try to send it back and buy oled instead

tldr: For comp games (OW2, Valorant, CS2, Apex, The Finals, FN), it's simply redundant in today's market.
There are options which achieve much better clarity without the repercussions of the GSYNC+VSYNC+Reflex setup (which should be "optimal" use-case)
Fixed refresh rate strobing (DyAc2, ULMB1 & a few others) would give you:
- No compensation pulse nerfing MPRT / strobe 'on' period due to erratic frametime (which is unavoidable in majority of games)
- No additional / exacerbated eye-strain due to multi-pulse behavior
- No additional proc latency (depending on model) or less additional processing latency than Pulsar
- Much better clarity targets (<0,5ms is easy on select models at higher refresh rates)

VRR+PWM might be better on models employing DyDS 2.0 (e.g.: P245MS Pro), but no review data is out on it yet.
I'm very certain that the detriments of the Pulsar models (HDMI 2.0, compensation pulse nerfing MPRT & Nvidia GPU lock-in) don't exist on these Titan Army models.

Thanks mate, appreciate the reply and detail. So for games like Apex or The Finals etc. do you think a Zowie Dyac2 monitor running at a fixed refresh is a much better choice for motion clarity?

In The Finals, for example, I can pretty much guarantee a locked 260fps at 1440p (around 330 at 1080p). In that instance, is Dyac2 a noticeable improvement over Pulsar? I personally haven't felt any additional eye-strain from Pulsar but I appreciate it can differ significantly from person to person.

Definitely agree that the lack of 'real' HDMI 2.1 is a frustrating point on these Pulsar monitors, especially considering the price.

Would you say ULMB2 at a fixed 240hz on these Pulsar monitors would help with both clarity and the processing latency? Again, I'm not overly sensitive to processing latency, I certainly haven't felt like the Pulsar monitor is slower than any other monitor I've used (swapping between 500hz QD OLED and Pulsar at the minute).
