This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

I’m sure some of you remember me I use to be in the forum a lot back then. I remember saying that getting all new parts and monitor should help but I’m not sure if that’s the case or not. Before I did that I changed my electrical panel because it was burning out. Changing the panel alone didn’t help but once I got a new pc it felt great. Then I had a house fire lolololol. (Electrical) so I’m in a new house and new pc and parts and my game feels so fluid and great. I’ve been here 5 months now. I’m saying all this to say maybe it was electrical and just a coincidence that my pc felt better after changing most of the parts. Who knows honestly but I’ve been without desync for a year and a half now. I post a lot of clips on YouTube if you were going to ask for vids. (Yt Inevitable) i mainly post overwatch and fortnite. But I do have clips of me playing Val and csgo

Hello,
thank you for your post. I am at new place, i bring old PC with me and that PC was exposed to lets say 3 years to the bad electricity. New place improves the feeling but its not even close to perfect. What you suggest to change in the old PC? I have the money but i dont really want spend 4k on new PC and find out its the same. Was there one part that improve the input lag most lets say MOBO? Just to find out…
