Superlight 2 wireless floaty/icy glide

Hello dear Blur Busters community. As you can understand from the title, I'm experiencing a strange gliding sensation with the wireless Superlight 2/Superstrike mouse. I've tried almost everything I could find online and test using AI. I've talked to many Superlight 2 users; some have experienced this problem and couldn't solve it, while others have never experienced it and claim it's the best mouse they've ever used. I've used 4-5 different Superlight 2 mice and 2 different Superstrike mice, and all of them had this strange feeling with the wireless. The cursor doesn't stop where I want it to; it feels like it's not the normal 800 DPI and sensitivity I set in-game, but a different DPI and sensitivity, something absurd. I've tried many wireless mice (Lamzu, Razer, ATK, McCoseo...) and never encountered a similar problem. I really like the shape and sensor of this mouse, but this wireless issue bothers me a lot. When plugged in, it glides normally, as it should, but not wirelessly. (Game surface mode off, Windows acceleration off). I wanted to mention that this problem exists not only in games but generally all the time!

I'm using it with 1000Hz polling and my system is as follows:

9070XT
Ryzen 7 9800x3d
MSI B850M Gaming Plus WiFi6e
(Also tried different mousepads and skates but it's still there...)
The reason I'm sharing this post here is that maybe someone else has experienced something similar and solved it somehow, and can show me a way... If you've read this far, thank you for your time, I hope we can solve it somehow.

I do not have a clue why it helped, but this got rid of the mouse floatiness for me. My SL2 is in a bin atm. Never again Logitech products for me.

I also had this issue with my Superlight 2. To me it felt like a firmware issue, so I thought I'll wait until they fix it.
Moved to a wired OP1 8k v2 since then and haven't checked since then if they fixed it, seems like they didn't?

To me the behavior of their implementation seemed like they'd dynamically create a buffer such that the mouse would still produce super smooth pointer motion, but it was super laggy and floaty ingame.

I also had the Superlight 1 which I quite liked back then, but when I tested it last time, it was pretty jittery - not smooth at all - but didn't have that issue the Superlight 2 had for me - which made the SL2 unplayable to me.

I kinda questioned though, that I may have a mouse with a hardware defect, since so many pro players use it? But maybe they just will use what their sponsor tells them, idk.

The thing is, when re-pairing the wireless connection in the Logitech driver did temporarily remove this floatiness but it was always coming back quickly eventually. And since I'm gaming on Linux and I can't do this re-pairing there, this basically let me downgrade this mouse to an office mouse for now - until they may possibly fix their firmware.

My wired OP1 8k v2 definitely is super crisp input-wise, but I'm looking forward to playing wireless eventually too again, but seems like this mouse isn't it - the input needs to be as raw as possible and not be tempered with by buffering - Logitech did really fail here, they need to provide a raw mode otherwise I'll go with other manufacturers.

Only way to tell is to test your mouse and pro's mouse by some test showing what you describe.

yeah, it was super easy to test.
just plug in the cable and all issues were gone, but the Logitech cable was very stiff, not meant for gaming.
also the Superlight 2 is limited to 1k polling rate via cable, so not what I was looking for.

the issue also was on Linux and Windows, so definitely not software related.

one thing I also need to mention, that I've basically mainly played with the Superlight 2 at 8k polling rate and MAYBE this mode was just leading to all this buggy floatiness. I mean, if I changed it then to 1k, the floatiness stayed, but I've never checked it at 1k/2k after a fresh re-pairing.

After all this mouse got designed to be a 1k/2k mouse and they then only later added the 4k/8k modes. Maybe the hardware just wasn't up to the task for this, and probably the marketing team just wanted higher numbers.

That being said, the game which I've mainly played with this performs great at 8k, much better than on 1k, so it's an important feature for me, that at least 4k will work great.
