As for the User mode thing, I tried it and compared to racing mode, it kinda seems like Racing mode feels more blue/cold-ish compared to User mode with those settings, and I don't really mind this one it looks alright.

Yes, if you reduce red, the image gets "colder."

Anyway, the way I play SDR games is in HDR mode and use Special K to map SDR to HDR with correct gamma.

This panel is natively TB400. It doesn't need a special mode for it.

The reason the latest gen panels have a special TB400 mode is because latest gen WOLED has removed the white subpixel, and thus they behave more similar to QD-OLED. They cannot reach peak brightness while maintaining TB400 certification. The older gen WOLEDs can, so no special mode needed.

Edit:
Well, unless you use the weird Asus hack of enabling "adjustable HDR" and raise brightness from 90 to 100. I'm not sure the monitor is still TB400 then. Just don't enable that hack, as it has the tendency to negatively affect colors anyway.
