To be fair, most people may not be good so they would not know. i have this same theory when i went to a internet cafe to rent a pc just to know that the pc there had the same issue as back home. all 40+ people in the room with me probably all of the issue and just cannot tell.MK92 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2026, 13:14Good, I don't need to talk to schizos who think that supernatural explanations are more probable than simply shitty routing connection and shit wiring or combination of both, imagine thinking that you can have identical problems at 20 locations with 20 different PCs and that the "problem" is not in your head only, because this would totally not be mainstream stuff with millions affected if people would be having this everywhere...as long as you have problems only in shooting games in a fuckin valorant, its server-side problem or geolocation problem because of shit routing, come back when you would have the same problems in single players games, in desktop, in chrome, in bios etc.

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

The ones who can tell the difference are mostly people who have experienced a fully synced game and then lost it. It's not just something that makes the game a little bit more fluent, it is something that determines almost every gun fight in every fps title.

Well well well, i go into my back garden and guess what? Some neighbours had solar panels installed, which coincides with the lag coming back recently. Im now playing worse than ever. Getting pretty tired of being around other people

Speaking of testing at gaming cafés, I’ve tried four different ones. Strangely, only one particular PC at one of them worked properly—it was isolated and not directly next to any other PCs. The image looked great, and I could kill enemies before they killed me. At every other spots and other gaming cafe, I experienced the exact same desync and enemy ferrari peeks as I do on my PC at home. It’s pretty strange.Templar_Warden wrote: ↑27 Aug 2026, 05:56To be fair, most people may not be good so they would not know. i have this same theory when i went to a internet cafe to rent a pc just to know that the pc there had the same issue as back home. all 40+ people in the room with me probably all of the issue and just cannot tell.MK92 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2026, 13:14Good, I don't need to talk to schizos who think that supernatural explanations are more probable than simply shitty routing connection and shit wiring or combination of both, imagine thinking that you can have identical problems at 20 locations with 20 different PCs and that the "problem" is not in your head only, because this would totally not be mainstream stuff with millions affected if people would be having this everywhere...as long as you have problems only in shooting games in a fuckin valorant, its server-side problem or geolocation problem because of shit routing, come back when you would have the same problems in single players games, in desktop, in chrome, in bios etc.

There is a possibility that that pc could have just been working that day. For example my friend one time joined my firing range and said his game was working and was trying to say that it had something to do with my firing range maybe and i said, "why would you think that. it could just be coincidence that it is working today when you join me." i am sure that it has nothing to do with joining my firing range. but you would have had to have been extremely lucky to use that pc on a day it happened to be working so it probably was. i still have yet to use a pc that works/works everyday.

Solar panels can be a big problem I think. Now power companies started to want to take control over solar panels because people are sending energy to the grid which is not needed and it leads to power grid overload. Also solar panels can make hertz fluctuations and harmonic distortions

maybe fake fix but playing at the outlets closest to my breaker panel seems to make everything normal, so in the kitchen.

Lol, I got a chance to test a friend’s gaming laptop. He brought it over fully charged, and I also tested it on battery just to rule out any power-related issues. Turns out, it has the exact same problem as my desktop PC

Desync, sluggish character, bad hitreg... whatever you guys call it

If he lives nearby or even within an 11 mile radius. theres a chance all electricity via electric grid is being sent as dirty electricity. its no suprise when many others on this forum have gone to gaming cafes to rent pcs or from apartment to apartment just to find the issue still occurs everywhere they go. unless youve seen gameplay from his house and seen that his game was working normally at his. now youve got to go his house and test there.Yagami wrote: ↑30 Aug 2026, 20:17Lol, I got a chance to test a friend’s gaming laptop.
