XL2411z questions

Post by darklord91 » 01 Sep 2015, 16:13

Hi, I just got an XL2411z and I have a few questions.

My main game is Dota 2. Should I be looking at 144hz without blur reduction, 144hz with blur reduction + strobe utility, or 120hz with blur reduction + strobe utility + vertical resolution? I'm confused as to what would be best for me. I'm leaning toward the last option because it seems popular here.

Thanks!

I am in the same boat here! Dota 2 player and I would like to know what are the best settings.

On 40% brightness and blur reduction off, I noticed that it is hard to read text in game.

It is especially apparent when a hero is moving and you are trying to read the player's name when you hover over the hero.

Will blur reduction + light boost fix this issue? I don't notice motion blur with other things but with text it is apparent.

Thank you!

I am playing Dota 2 a lot. Try to reduce the Sharpiness to 5 or 6. If you have it at 10 then its just too much.
