I get ZERO stutter on my XBOX one or XBOX 360, also zero screen tearing... nothing nearly as bad as what I'm seeing now. I'm all set buying a proprietary overpriced monitor that will have no benefit over going with AMD for 100's less. I owned a GTX 970 and had no noticeable benefit over the AMD so you can stop with your suggesting NVIDIA. I don't see one single reason why you think going NVIDIA is going to be an improvement... The 970 has gimped VRAM and no added benefit over AMD except overpriced variable refresh rate. IF you're going to suggest NVIDIA provide information for your reasons instead of just continuing to recommend me switch over. Otherwise I'll think your a fanboy and totally disregard anything you say from here on out. I mean seriously give me graphs charts reputable sources because I've never known NVIDIA to be any better than AMD except for power consumption and heat.Glide wrote:I think you'll be in for an unpleasant surprise if you bought a PS4 considering that you find V-Sync unacceptable and consoles don't give you the option to disable it.
Stuttering is absolutely a problem on PS4, and the framerate is already much lower to begin with. Bloodborne is a complete mess for example.
I'd still recommend that you switch back to NVIDIA and buy a G-Sync display if you want the smoothest gaming experience possible, but FreeSync is the less expensive option and should still bring a huge improvement.
If console is so much worse than PC in terms of tearing and stutter then that alone should point out I have a serious issue with my PC because my 360/ONE don't have stutter/tearing like my PC does. I can actually play and enjoy it.
This is what leads me to believe after everything you guys still don't see or know what I'm talking about as far as my issue because my XBOX ONE runs 10x smoother than my PC, I get no stutter or tear like I am now.
