Hello in advance, excuse my English, it's not my first language
My game is Fortnite I love ULMB in creative everything is fine because I reach 240fps in normal arena rounds I unfortunately only reach with my current PC about 180-240fps and at 180 ULMB looks very very bad and it doesn't feel good either I read here that you can fix that with V-Sync (low input lag variant) I actually followed everything unfortunately 180fps still feel very bad and I don't get a clean picture like with 240fps at 240hz is that just normal or did I do something wrong
I pinned my RTSS settings
TestUFO refresh rate was 239,761
V-Sync ON (Nvidia Control Panel)
Thanks in advance for all replies

Re: Need Help ULMB + V-Sync with xg2431
Vsync isn't gonna do anything for 180FPS ULMB. You'd have better luck trying to get 180Hz ULMB working instead. If the monitor can be coaxed to run 180Hz ULMB, that is.

Re: Need Help ULMB + V-Sync with xg2431
Yes it actually works, unfortunately I think it looks even worse on 180hz with 180fps because I then have massive tearing. Does V-Sync with ULMB help me or did I misunderstand it?
a completely different question since they are already there
Is it worth turning on V-Sync with a G-Sync monitor (with chip).
should I use the RTSS trick? Do I still have to cap my frames under my hz numbers
if v-sync helps me with ULMB 180fps at 180hz I would have to set 177fps to 180hz or not
thank you in advance for the answer and thank you for the trouble
Re: Need Help ULMB + V-Sync with xg2431
If you turn on vsync, you're gonna get the typical vsync lag. G-sync won't help there, since you use ULMB. They don't work together.
What you can do is either use the low latency vsync thing:

Or use scanline sync:

Or enable fast sync in the nvidia panel.

So I have now set 180hz and set the RTSS limiter to 179.990 without V-Sync and found it very very good I took over my settings as explained could you check if everything is correct I pinned itRealNC wrote: ↑11 Feb 2022, 06:22If you turn on vsync, you're gonna get the typical vsync lag. You shouldn't use that unless you know what you're doing.
