AW2518HF upgrade to XL2566K

So I've had the alienware aw2518hf for 3-4 years now and I'm about to upgrade to the zowie xl2566k.
I mostly play competitive FPS games.

I don't mind the TN panel, I actually like it.
Do you think it's worth it ?

Why do you want to upgrade your monitor? are you looking for a competitive edge? better motion clairty? etc.

Do you want a monitor that is just good at motion clarity but disappointing colours? or a decent all-rounder monitor that's good at colours and motion clarity?

From the reviews I've seen, the XL2566K has bad colour accuracy. Personally if I were you I'd look into either:

-PG27AQN (1440p @ 360hz) - I tried this personally, really good monitor but you'll need a powerful rig to take advantage if you're playing other games (e.g. RTX 4080, 4090)

-PG27AQDM (1440p @ 240hz but OLED) haven't tried this one personally but it has extremely good response and very good colour accuracy. Arguably the best motion clarity you will get right now. The downside of this one though is that it may not look for producitivity/text on desktop due to the sub-pixel layout.

After changing to 1440p I couldn't go back to 1080p. If I were competing professionally though, I would use a 1080p monitor. TN panels cause more eye fatigue too.

Oh, and avoid Dell/Alienware... they stealth install AWCC, leading to all kinds of problems.

I ended up getting the zowie 360hz.
Personally I only play competitive games, I rarely to never play single player games.
Even if I wanted to use a 2k monitor I have a 2nd monitor that is 2k but I don't really mind tbh.

I think the alienware I have is a bad 240hz monitor so this zowie seems like a big upgrade to me, but I wouldn't have gone with it if I had something like 240hz zowie instead.

I looked through the ASUS list of Eye Care gaming monitors and they all appear to be IPS and VA. I didn't see any TN on the list.
