Scewin/Grub Hidden Bios Settings
Re: Scewin/Grub Hidden Bios Settings
My P and C states are disabled. Do I have to disable the following?
Setup Question = Enhanced C-states
Help String = Enables/disables C1E. When enabled, CPU slows down to minimum speed when all cores enter the C-state.
Token =38F // Do NOT change this line
Offset =16
Width =01
BIOS Default =[01]Enabled
Options =[00]Disabled // Move "*" to the desired Option
*[01]Enabled
Setup Question = Per Core P State OS control mode
Help String = Enable/Disable Per Core P state OS control mode. Disabling will set Bit 31 = 1 command 0x06. When set, the highest core request is used for all other core requests.
Token =37C // Do NOT change this line
Offset =0F
Width =01
BIOS Default =[01]Enabled
Options =[00]Disabled // Move "*" to the desired Option
*[01]Enabled
HPET turned off through Scewin. Hyperthreading off. Running i7 11700k at 5.1Ghz with 16GB 3600 (3200 XMP Hynix B die). [16 20 20 40 Trc 60, Trfc 630].
Also I have Speedstep and Speedshift disabled. But I was looking through nvram.txt and found this
Setup Question = Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology Interrupt Control
Help String = Enable/Disable Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology Interrupts
Token =375 // Do NOT change this line
Offset =1E1
Width =01
BIOS Default =[01]Enabled
Options =[00]Disabled // Move "*" to the desired Option
*[01]Enabled
Should I Disable it?

Re: Scewin/Grub Hidden Bios Settings
i think you should disable of the options you show and do cs2 benchmark and then if you loose fps revert them.

Using Scewin to tweak hidden bois
Why use grub when scewin is a thing
SCEWIN GUIDE - YOU MUST DO THIS!!! by imribiy this video shows how to use scewin
SCEHUB on github will show you everything you need to use scewin properly, and you can also get the latest version
some things you could test intel based
disable unused usb ports
Setup Question = PCI Delay Optimization
Help String = Experimental ACPI additions for FW latency optimizations
enable
Setup Question = Legacy IO Low Latency
Help String = Set to enable low latency of legacy IO. Some systems require lower IO latency irrespective of power. This is a tradeoff between power and IO latency.
enable
Setup Question = PCH Cross Throttling
Help String = Enable/Disable the PCH Cross Throttling feature. Only ULT support this feature.
Token =A50 // Do NOT change this line
disable
Setup Question = PCH Energy Reporting
Help String = Enable Energy Report. MUST set it as ENABLED. This is only for test purpose.
disable
Setup Question = PCI Latency Timer
Help String = Sets latency timer for PCI interface device.
Setup Question = PCI-X Latency Timer
248 PCI Bus Clocks
