NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, ToastyX, black frame insertion (BFI), and now framerate-based motion blur reduction (framegen / LSS / etc).

Do keep in mind that you're still on a relatively large image resolution on the 24.5" mode, which can lead to a GPU bottleneck much easier.

The only vendor which seemingly offered "integer scaling" (Nearest Neighbour with a integer value) has been Dell AW thus far, according to tanalin

its not 24.5 inch 1080p its 1728x972 24.5 inch, but even 27 inch mode is 1:1

I have no such information, but my guess is that they might attempt it.
Though, the claim of $1k price tag for a QHD@360Hz model is extremely disappointing...

The only confirmed competitor that I know of are the DyDS Tech 2.0 panels (P275MS Pro & P245MS Pro), but no one has reviewed them in-depth.
As for DyAc3, I don't know whether it'll be VRR+Strobe.
My comment was a remark on the mediocre pulse width that Nvidia has chosen.

is there a reason why monitors with adjustable pulse, barely look any different, not just talking about asus pulsar or pg27aqn or pg248qp, even strobe utility on benqs barely look much different, like it is just a brightness slider it seems, i mean there some clarity improvements, but so subtle

is this changing the duty cycle?, i thought reducing duty cycle would be a dramatic increase in motion clarity

For Benq displays:
Only DyAC1/DyAC+ have the necessary VCP commands to be able to actually adjust the duty cycle (pulse width) to a non-preset option.
Blurbusters Utility acts as a GUI for these commands.
The benefits of that is usually seen in a larger effective motion clarity, which can be spotted by looking at fast UFOs.
For example: 3840px/s would be ≤1px of blur ("perfect" / static-like) eye-tracked motion clarity on a CRT.

The most important part that users don't talk about is the physical speed at which objects move (measured in pixels / second)
If your game is relatively slow, you won't see any benefits from lower duty cycle. That doesn't mean they aren't there.
Lower duty cycle is mostly necessary for achieving a short pulse on interval at lower refresh rates.
On 240-360Hz, one can get away with a higher pulse width.

i have like 4 asus monitors, and all the smaller windowed modes, like 25 inch, 24,5 inch are all wrong, 25 is 24.9. and 24.5 inch is 24.2 inch

sure its not game breaking, but insanely unbelievable, these people are extremely smart, they either have wrong math, or arent taking into account the true monitor screen area. just use a tape measure and check your numbers ...

I'm guessing using Custom Resolution Utility 1.5.3 with a new Detailed Resolution but I'm not sure what settings.
