NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV

Are you guys seeing a bug with pulsar and vsync enabled causing much higher pc latency as reported by the nvidia overlay? For example vsync on with reflex caps to 320fps and the average pc latency bugs out and starts getting stuck at 12-14ms. Disabling vsync and setting in game fps cap to the same 320fps results in around 4.5ms average pc latency.

Is my monitor defective? Im using the acer version with the latest firmware, just asking in here since its by far the most popular thread.

If u use the vsync , for lowest possible latency u need to use vsync+gsync+reflex on ultra, and u will get the lowest possible latency with vsync, but i don't like it, using only rivatuner cap around 327fps(frame start presentation+front edge sync cap) with reflex only ON and gsync on give me the best framepace and best fps consistency if u wanna slightly better lower latency so u can raise cap to 342 fps

Does anyone here have the Acer model? I have a few friends who bought the acer model and one of them received their monitor today, did the firmware update and Gsync pulsar had some weird inverse ghosting artifacts and some other issues with ULMB 2 mode. Currently asked them to do a DDU driver wipe and reflash the firmware to latest to see if it fixes it but I'm curious to see if anyone else is having this issue on latest 1.1.8 firmware on acer. Also WOW acer's menus are a lot less intuitive than Asus and it's really hard to help anyone troubleshoot settings... can't even see what version of firmware you are on the acer one.

I have the msi version of the monitor, have latest Nvidia drivers, have latest FW, playing with rivatuner 327 cap+ gsync on+reflex only on+pulsar on.

I don't know what's going on here, BUT, sometimes, when i playing pubg, my friend driving a car and I'm looking around from a fast moving car all around smooth and clear and sometimes my weapon with scope get some shit ghosting when I'm wiggling left right. Idk why and when this going on, but this going only when u fast moving and u start wiggling left right, my scope start bad ghosting like a hell

Right now on woot the acer Gsync pulsar monitor is going for like $380 so it's an absolute steal lol

I purchased the Acer pulsar at this price and already returned it. The 320fps bug with vsync is still alive after six months with no word from Nvidia about working on the fix. The IPS glow was the worst I have seen, possibly defective levels. The viewing angles were so bad that if you were sitting dead center of the monitor the system time on the bottom right of the screen was blurred or washed out, moving your head to the right cleared it up. My previous IPS monitors never looked this bad.

After having both on the desk I have gone back to the Acer 500hz oled that was $500 last month. It has usable HDR with amazing blacks and viewing angles. The pulsar monitor wins for motion clarity but the 500hz oled isn't that far behind in my opinion.

First time hearing about this bug. When it comes to the quality of the panel it should be clear to everyone by now that this is a below average IPS panel in every regard except motion handling and brightness. Contrast, viewing angles and backlight bleed are below average for modern IPS panels. Even when compared side by side with the PG27AQN (similar retail price) this panel is noticeably worse in those aspects, never mind when compared to an OLED its not even close.
