Re: Desync in all games with new cat 8
Yes exactly, I will continue using the old one, the truth is that I am a little surprised that two network cables affect the performance of a game so much.
hey bro, is the symptoms u had include, (slow mouse) feels folaty or on ice, (Desync) enemies see you before you see them like they peek ...

Re: Fix for input lag
ok so I tried brightness trick and everything ccfan said. it's much better to play, the mouse itself is not very sharp, but the game is much more enjoyable, the hitreg is better too, less desync. compared to the game before the "fix", things are definitely better, I wonder how long it will last ...

Re: [For me at least] Possible Desync Fix
3rd update: Here is how I have it set up https://imgur.com/a/ErnqGJU The plug to connected to the wall, the right one is the PC power strip, there isn't any adapter cancelling ground because the same earth cable shown in the video was for that specific wallmount plug. But I removed it and instead ...

Re: It's not electricity, or hidden network lag, or unicorn farts
The problem is 70% dirty electricity.
20% Windows problems, BIOS settings.
10% possible EMI problems (very rare).
Just think about why a mouse seems slow during the day, but at night it flies like on ice?
Why, when I bring my computer to a friend's house, does the mouse fly like it's on ice ...

Re: Input lag/desync/heavy mouse issues
So I've been having these issues for far too long.
I managed to make them a lot better but they are still happening.
I changed my pc's plug to an individual and bigger circuit breaker with very few things on it so It doesn't get cuts from other devices in the house because the other one was heavy ...
