Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

I’m skeptical of the idea that the problem is caused by the human body or by sweat produced by the body affecting the computer.
I have actually played games in PC cafés where the environment seemed to be in the “perfect” state we’re talking about. The experience was consistently perfect every time.
One thing worth pointing out is that PC cafés operate 24 hours a day, continuously, for years. They have a huge number of people coming and going, and the equipment is constantly being touched by different people. Sweat, dead skin cells, and even moisture from people’s mouths can come into contact not only with the keyboards and mice, but also with the monitors and other equipment.
Yet despite all of that, those PCs remained in perfect condition. There was no sign of the issue we’re discussing.
For that reason, I’m skeptical that the human body itself is having a significant effect on the computer and causing this problem.
There’s another point I’d like to make. In an attempt to find common characteristics among environments where the problem does **not** occur, I visited a large number of PC cafés across the country. I’ve been to more than 20, roughly speaking, and only two of them provided what I would consider a truly perfect experience.
This may explain why the problem can persist even after moving homes many times. If roughly 90% of environments have whatever underlying condition is causing the problem, while only around 10% are free of it, then even after moving ten times, there is still a high probability that you will end up in an environment where the problem exists.
In other words, the problem may be far more widespread than we realize, while only a small minority of people are fortunate enough to play games in an environment that allows their PC to perform at 100% of its potential.
That is why I don’t think moving to another place is necessarily a reliable way to solve the problem. If the underlying issue is widespread, you can move repeatedly and still keep ending up in an affected environment.
If you play competitive video games you would know that this problem is not widespread. When i spectate players in OW2, CS2, Valorant etc their limiting skill is their game knowledge, positioning, etc and not their aim in most cases. If in rare cases they have potato aim it's clear they are aiming at the floor or are in general just bad players. I was just playing against Plat Hanzo in OW2 and it was very obvious why he was Plat... poor positioning, horrible game sense, tilting plays, etc but his aim was cracked and in no way could someone with this problem hit those shots that consistently. It happens every other game too. I'm suprised at how cracked most people are at games today... I see kids in Rocket League doing triple resets in low Champ, which is physically impossible if you have this problem. Just watching random guides on Youtube and paying attention to the way their cursor behaves and how fast they navigate around on their PC is amazing to me because if you have this problem you know that just navigating your OS/Browser is a struggle because of how delayed and inaccurate the mouse is. Best feeling to describe it is as if your mouse had a brain of its own and was constantly slipping on the ice and changing it's DPI randomly.
Also this problem not being EMF/Power related does not mean it is caused by our bodies. Google what anomaly means... It could be millions of different things.
The biggest thing I notice when watching videos of players who don’t have this issue is how much time they seem to have to make mistakes and still recover.
There’s this kid who plays Apex ranked on stream, and when I watch his VODs, it almost looks like his enemies give him time to correct his mistakes and still win the gunfight. Meanwhile, my enemies feel like absolute gods. I have to start shooting and basically not miss for at least two seconds just to guarantee that I win the fight.
I’d genuinely love for this to just be a skill issue on my part, but after experiencing how games feel without this issue for three days, I can’t honestly say that anymore. The difference in how much time I have to react and recover from mistakes is just too noticeable.

lowkey i talk/show this ina video i just made yesterday.

Edit: i dont really feel like im not being able to react fast enough though, this is kinda why i dont know half the time if we have the same issues. It just feels like inputs are not going the distance that my mouse is traveling. and if i was hitting shots, i wouldnt be dying as fast. so idk.

Look, this forum is full of people describing "the problem".
But I see nobody saying "my game runs too smoothly, my weapon has no recoil, enemies move way too slowly and are easy to kill, I'm having too much fun!" etc.
Well, because that suits them, right? When you make a lot of kills easily, that's how the game is meant to run (for you), yeah? Then it's your skill and fast reaction time and all the other things that make you awesome.
But what if it's just the opposite effect of the same coin. Your pc, the game allows you to win. The same thing that causes the desync issue, can cause you to have advantages. And when pc's meet on a server, they start affecting each other.
Some players can play for many years and usually have advantage over most others. Like I said, most players seem to be in the middleground, their game is not super good nor too bad.
Skill is irrelevant here, really. I'm not talking about braindead players.
I've been on the absolute shitty side of this like you all and I've also been where I was untouchable, like god. For many years as a matter of fact.
IN BOTH CASES, I now know it had nothing to do with my skill.
And lately most of the time I've been in the average range with glimpses of really good and really bad. I do have a good idea how to call out the best game though.
I was where some of you guys are now, many years ago. I'm just trying to speed up the thought process here and help understand this better.

I mean it makes sense that if your mouse is not traveling the proper distance at which you move it than recoil would be effected.

have you tried changing your sitting position? either your chair is really low or your desk is very high, check this video out
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW_z6bCy1ZI your sitting position actually makes a huge difference in the way your aim feels

There's some truth to what you said regarding the seating position. However, my personal problem is this: I'm a veteran gamer with over 22 years of experience, and I know what I'm talking about. In short, the screen isn't smooth, even though I have a 240Hz monitor. I don't have time to react to enemies, and I die about 80% of the time in encounters. Opening the ADS lenses is slow, the recoil is difficult, and not all shots register. I feel like I need more shots to kill an enemy. The screen is blurry, and distant objects are unclear. Anyone, even a beginner, can kill me. And in any encounter with someone using an SMG/shotgun, their movements feel strange, and it's difficult to kill them, even if they're relatively far away.
While the problem sometimes disappears, I kill enemies very quickly and get a good kill count. The lens opens faster, all shots are recorded, enemy kill time is shorter, and recoil is very easy, even at medium range. The screen is blur-free, even at 1280x800 resolution; I can see clearly, and the screen colors are even more beautiful. I even remember when I had a 144Hz monitor several years ago, before the problem appeared, everything was fine, and I felt smoother than with the current 240Hz monitor.

i know your just trying to help but this is genuinely rage bait, the issue has nothing to do with my sitting position. the inputs do not go the correct distance at which you move them and at the correct timings at which you press them. i sat no differently between when my game was working and not working. if your saying its because of sitting position you might aswell tell a person they dont have a problem at all. also yes, my desk is around 41 inches or 3.4 feet tall.
