I played my first three Season 5 competitive CS2 matches last night with FW 1.1.10. I had only tested it offline or with short deathmatch sessions so far, as I’ve been on a little break since July (my 2nd daughter was born).pablo v2 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2026, 02:23Rocket League has never looked better at 1440p with 360 Hz Pulsar, RTSS VRR cap 342 FPS, after updating to the latest firmware. It’s hard to put into words, but as someone who’s been playing this game for 10+ years on just about every panel imaginable, there’s something special brewing here.
Same RTSS frame cap settings as you, and I have to say, it’s night and day compared to the last CS2 season. So clear and smooth at all times, such a delight to play and watch.
If they ever manage to implement some kind of frame-time-based frame cap, so workshop maps that struggle a bit more with frame times are also kept under control and remain smooth, it will be just perfect.
This thing is pure gold. Or, as you said... something special.
