Re: CS GO Input Lag
I have noticed this as well, community tdm servers are way way better in everything than public tdm /casual/matchmaking and faceit is the worst, my mouse turns to a 10kg dumbbell.SKILLEN wrote: ↑15 Oct 2022, 07:59Im not sure if my problem is internet or electricity, because i can join any deathmatch server doesnt matter location and play without mouse input lag , and join any mm,faceit(5vs5),casual,community and i always have input lag.
For example i play in Brutalcs dm server ,everything is okay ,than i join in Brutalcs retake server >input lag.
Same thing with faceit when i play in faceit DM servers no input lag,but in 5vs5 faceit always have input lag.
This is why I’m saying fixing “electricity “ isn’t enough, you still need to be able to connect to servers well and that needs different location or isp or i don’t know, it might be your account xd.
Too many variables at play and trying to rule them out will takes tons of time and mental strength that I don’t think is worth it.
I’m thinking about perhaps using vpn to bypass this servers thing but I’m not sure. Have you tried vpn ?
Re: CS GO Input Lag
I moved 15km away from old place.
Tried VPN
Tried new steam accounts, new faceit accounts.
Tried playing from 8-9 different locations with different ISPs ,wi fi , 4g (previous PC)
And from example above with brutalcs servers they are with the same IP if i have problem in 1 server i should have it in all servers
It can't be the internet in my opinion

Re: CS GO Input Lag
with the new pc, did you first log in with your old steam account or a new one?
Re: CS GO Input Lag
If they have same ip its just external IP and nothing more. VMs can configured different by resources or its just poorly configured server with plugins, or or or can be hundreds. You cant make definitions by 1 server. Try warmupserver, proplayers use it.
Re: CS GO Input Lag
In warmupserver deathmatch and every other community deathmatch in the world > no problem,no input lag

Re: CS GO Input Lag
For me dust2 warumpserver.net is laggy a bit, inferno a little and mirage, inferno and mostly vertigo wase absolutelly OK, killing legends.
However it changes during daytime, 5ms sv = lag and aim is bad, 2-3ms sv = aim is OK. Dust2 has always higher sv, inferno a bit too.
MM (and official DM valve too) has sv total trash, faceit is 50:50, some servers have terrible red sv spikes (pure coinflip games). And nearly all 128t DM servers except wase have bad performance, high sv (or server var unstable), and the aim is pieace of crap then too.

Make server > Practice with bots > Competitive ,0 input lag despite fps not high as usual ,probably because bots.
Kick bots ,invite friends in the same server and play 5vs5 > input lag . No logic

Re: CS GO Input Lag
input lag caused by ethernet being set in low power mode?
