This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Re: solved Floaty Mouse- Reproducable fix-
could it end up being just the fact that it's a new bios and it's just like the other settings where you change it and it works for a little bit?

Re: solved Floaty Mouse- Reproducable fix-
since you mentioned mouse initialization, could it be just "driver-ranking issues" during mouse installation like this below thread is mentioning or do you think it's entirely something else?

mouse infectedjeffeh12133 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025, 00:53did you try his fix? basically to reinstall the same bios version and try different mouse or what? how could you know if your mouse is "infected"?
what next ? earphones/headsets are infected ?
and what about keyboards ? are they or can be infected too ?
but most important and interesting what with touchpads ? infected ? you know there exist keyboards with touchpad ?

edit:
guys i find better fix and not even a fixed mouse needed to buy or search for lol:
instead of update bios with your new "fixed mouse"...just put a "fixed usb gamepad" (you can even use the ones from your console) and then update bios. should work too or ?
after then just play some games which good for gamepad (example rocket league, fifa..) only and feel the difference haha...
Re: solved Floaty Mouse- Reproducable fix-
I heard this infected theory so many times yet no one dares to send such mouse to anyone to review/check what is wrong with it.
