Hey guys - I just purchased the XG27AQNGV and the screen goes black for 2 to 3 seconds then recovers. It's completely random, but I've been able to reproduce it mostly in the Escape from Tarkov menu. My second monitor never does it. Nothing shows in Event Viewer.

Yes... Nvidia is already looking into this. Its a common problem of RTX30/40 cards with 360 Hz wqhd monitors. I have also read about similar problems with UHD 240 Hz screens. As mentioned Nvidia already stated that changing to maximum performance mode should get rid of random ingame black screens.
But the alt-tab black screens will remain, this seems to be a different issue.

If you reduce your monitor frequency to 240 Hz (which still looks amazing with pulsar) there will be less and shorter black screens. If you want to get rid of them completely you have to switch to single tile mode via registry.
This will also remove 360 Hz mode. Then your monitor will behave perfectly snappy, no more black screens at all.

I ran my 4070 for several months like this and it worked great. In the end I upgraded to RTX50 and all black screen problems are gone in normal operation with 360 Hz.

I hope they will get this under control. So many 360 Hz users out there which suffer from these handshake problems. Not just pulsar users.

Why does this monitor have the old OSD software, it's basically a copy of pg248qp and pg27aqn but with pulsar and 60hz ulmb2 option

I have 3 other Asus monitors with the newer software, and 2 were cheaper

Really hope they can fix the image retention problems eventually as well. Not too sure how common that issue is but I know of at least one other person that has mentioned it.

only image retention i noticed is with the ufo test, the white lines, same as my other ips lcds, but never on any TN monitor i own
